In the belief that every child is entitled to grow up in a safe, healthy and drug-free environment, REACH utilizes nationally recognized, research-based programs and strategies for school and community services offered to the youth, adults, and families of Ellis and Johnson Counties. Program activities are designed to:

  • Provide awareness and knowledge of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs
  • Develop decision-making, problem-solving and other life skills
  • Establish or change community standards and attitudes
  • Enhance community and multi-agency coordination and collaboration
  • Encourage and foster bonding with peers, family, and community
  • Ensure access to appropriate levels and types of services needed by program participants
  • Provide interactions to assist individuals and groups to identify, understand, and resolve issues and problems related to substance abuse or other high-risk behavior
Our Mission Statement
The mission of REACH is to encourage and support safe and healthy choices vital to the well-being of our youth, families, and communities.
