School-Based Prevention Programs in Midlothian, Texas

Our school-based prevention programs are based on evidence and focus on developing healthy life skills, such as creating healthy friendships, developing peer refusal skills, and learning how to identify and manage emotions. All of our programs provide developmentally appropriate education on the many harms of substance abuse. Our programs are also engaging and fun, as well as informative, and we can present the information during larger assemblies or in smaller group settings.

We offer school-based prevention programs for both children and teens. For example, for teenagers, we present on the dangers and consequences of using alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, prescription drugs, etc. Most of the time, we conduct these presentations during the annual Red Ribbon Week Campaign, but we can schedule these events throughout the school year. Additionally, we offer presentations for community youth groups during the summer, such as church camps, scout troops, and more.

The main purpose of our school-based prevention programs is to help children and teens know what to do when they find themselves in a situation where there is the opportunity for substance abuse. Contact us today to learn more about our school-based prevention programs and set up a presentation at your school.

At REACH Council, we offer school-based prevention programs for those from Johnson County, Ellis County, Midlothian, and Hill County, Texas.
